Payment and shipping:

Payment can be arranged with cash or credit card at pickup or online through our website. If you are a new customer, we require pre-payment. Returning customers will receive an invoice along with their items.

You can choose if you prefer your items to be shipped or picked up at one of our locations on your profile page. Items may be picked up at one of our location for a reduced shipping fee. Please see more information about shipping costs below. 

Shipping costs will depend on the weight and size of the item. Standard shipping with Bring in addition to handling and insurance costs will be added to the hammer price. If you choose to pick up at one of our locations, you pay a freight fee of NOK 25 minimum depending on the weight and size of the item.

At our online auction all items sold within a given week will be shipped the following week. At other auctions the items will usually ship within 14 days of the auction’s ending.

If the shipment is over 2 kg or valued at more than NOK 2000, the shipment will receive a tracking code with Bring. For now, please request a tracking code by using our contact form and we will provide one as quickly as possible.

If all your bids are within the same week (Mon-Fri), normally they will all be shipped the following week. If you have bids collecting every other week or once a month we can ship them together, if this is agreed upon before bidding. This only applies to the online auction, not special auctions such as Heureka-auctions, the autumn auction or the spring auction. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, we cannot hold back processed items if you have other bids waiting. This is automatically handled within our systems.

Your order will ship once the payment has been processed and confirmed in our system. The processing time might be a couple of days after your payment has been confirmed.

Shipping within the EU is distributed through our Dansih company Skanfil Danmark AS and customs through to the EU is handled by them. We add a 5% VAT onto the invoice, which would be equivalent to purchase within the EU. Postage surcharge according to the table below (applies to packages up to 20 kg). Letter post: minimum NOK 75 which includes handling and insurance. To other EU countries: postage from Denmark (minimum NOK 75). EU customers can in this way, shop at Skanfil Norway at no extra costs with no customs clearance problems. Weapons, including knives, cannot be sold to EU countries.

Base shipping rates to EU-countries per November 15 2023:

For international shipping, outside the EU, all packages are shipped from Norway and local customs will apply. The 5% VAT of Norway will not be added to these shipments.
